Sara Otung
Sara Otung is a Welsh-Nigerian medical doctor turned actress with a passion for storytelling that bridges disciplines. After earning her medical degree from the University of Birmingham and working on the front lines during the pandemic, she made the bold move to London to pursue her lifelong dream of acting.
Sara made her stage debut in the acclaimed National Theatre production Nye, and has continued to bring depth, empathy, and precision to every role she plays. Drawing from her unique background in medicine and performance, she brings a fresh and authentic voice to the stage.
Shmedic marks her debut as a playwright.

Antoinette Jackman
Antoinette Jackman is an emerging and dynamic Actor, Writer and Director for Theatre and Film.
Her Credits Include: BBC’s Industry, Pilot for Netflix show Aunty Julie, Caliban at The Globe, Director of Song Queen: A Pidgin Opera, which is on at Wilton Music hall from 24th- 26th April.
She is currently curating a rapid response theatre experience, based on the Netflix show, Adolescence. This will be at McQueens Theatre on 27th April.
She has begun works on the one woman play Shmedic, written by Dr Sara Otung.

Dela Ruth Hini
Dela Ruth Hini (she/her) is a Ghanaian-Canadian multidisciplinary creative with a growing portfolio as an actor, writer, and producer. As a producer, Dela founded the not-for-profit theatre company Stoke The Embers, which specialises in new writing and live events. Stoke The Embers champions the potential of both emerging and established artists through creative development and performance opportunities, such as writing workshops, industry panels, and scratch events. Prior to immigrating to the UK, Dela completed a BA in Sociology from the University of British Columbia and she actively draws from an interdisciplinary background to inform her work, especially with regard to community-based practices. Dela also holds an Acting Diploma from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and her other training includes Almeida Young Producers and the Old Vic Facilitators.
